Introduction

Desaign is operated by WOULDNTLIKE STUDIO LLC ("we," "us," or "our"). Effective date: July 2, 2026.

WOULDNTLIKE STUDIO LLC operates the Desaign mobile application ("Desaign" or the "App"). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have.

By using Desaign, you agree to the practices described here. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

1. Information We Collect

Information you provide

  • Account information. When you create an account, we collect your email address. If you sign in with Apple or Google, we receive an identity token and the name and email you choose to share (Apple may provide a private relay email). If you sign up with email and password, your password is stored in hashed form by our authentication provider; we never see it in plain text. Your account is for your personal use only — you may not share your login credentials or otherwise provide account access to third parties.
  • Profile information. Display name, bio, and profile photo (avatar), if you choose to add them.
  • Onboarding responses. Your self-reported design experience level, if you answer the onboarding question.
  • Content you upload. Inspiration or source images you upload to generate designs, and the design prompts associated with your generations.

Information created through your use of the App

  • Generated content. The design images the App produces for you.
  • Generation records. Metadata about each generation, including the design prompt text, image size and quality settings, references to your input and output images, timestamps, and any error messages.
  • Subscription and purchase data. Your subscription status, product identifiers, entitlements, expiration dates, and related purchase records, provided through our payments provider.
  • Usage and cost records. Internal records of generation activity and associated processing costs, kept for billing accuracy and abuse prevention.
  • Push notification tokens. If you enable push notifications, we store a device push token so we can notify you when a design is ready.

Information stored on your device

Some data is stored locally on your device and not on our servers, including a local copy of your name, bio, and profile image, your notification preference, your saved designs and design history, onboarding state, and your authentication session tokens. This local data is cleared when you sign out or delete your account.

2. AI-Generated Content

Desaign uses generative artificial intelligence — including a third-party AI provider (OpenAI) — to turn the images and prompts you provide into design output. A few things to know about how this works:

  • AI-generated designs may not exactly match your reference image or prompt, and can vary between generations even with identical inputs.
  • Generated images are not manually reviewed by a person before being delivered to you.
  • Desaign does not use AI to make automated decisions about you — for example, decisions about your legal rights, eligibility, or access to services. Generation is limited to producing image content based on what you submit.
  • We may decline to generate, or may filter, certain prompts (for example, prompts referencing third-party trademarks or brand names) to reduce legal and safety risk.
  • Some jurisdictions (including California and the EU) have introduced laws requiring AI providers above certain size thresholds to label AI-generated content or provide public detection tools. Desaign does not currently meet those thresholds. If that changes as we grow, we will update this policy and add any required labeling or disclosure.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

  • Provide the App's core functionality — generating designs from your inputs.
  • Create and manage your account and profile.
  • Process subscriptions, credits, and purchases.
  • Send you notifications you have enabled (such as "design ready").
  • Maintain, secure, and improve the App, including preventing abuse and misuse.
  • Comply with legal obligations.

We do not currently use analytics or tracking SDKs, and we do not collect behavioral tracking data through third-party analytics services. We do not use your data to serve ads. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, as those terms are defined under the CCPA/CPRA.

4. How We Share Your Information

We share information with the following third-party service providers, only as needed to operate the App:

  • Supabase — our backend provider, which hosts our database, authentication, and file storage. Your account data, profile, generation records, and uploaded and generated images are stored here.
  • OpenAI — our image generation provider. When you generate a design, your prompt text is sent to OpenAI. When you edit or upscale an image, your input image is also sent. If you use the design assistant chat feature, your chat messages and any image you attach are sent to OpenAI. Generated images are returned to us and stored in your account. OpenAI processes this data under its own API data usage policy. We do not control OpenAI's retention; based on OpenAI's published API policy, API inputs and outputs are not used to train its models by default and are retained for a limited period for abuse monitoring before deletion. You should review OpenAI's current policy directly, as it may change.
  • RevenueCat — our subscription management provider, which receives your account identifier and store purchase and receipt data to manage your subscription.
  • Apple and Google — if you use Sign in with Apple or Google, they process the sign-in and return identity information you have authorized.
  • Expo push service, Apple (APNs), and Google (FCM) — used to deliver push notifications if you enable them.

We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect our rights, or in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.

5. Data Storage and Location

Your data is stored on infrastructure operated by Supabase. Data may be processed and stored in the United States and, depending on our providers, in other countries. If you access the App from outside the United States, your information may be transferred to and processed in the United States, where data protection laws may differ from those in your country.

Uploaded and generated images in our private storage are accessible only through short-lived signed links (expiring after approximately 10 minutes). Profile photos and saved design images are stored in publicly readable storage buckets, meaning anyone with the direct link can view them.

6. Data Retention

We retain your account data and content for as long as your account is active. We do not currently apply automatic time-based deletion to stored images or generation records — they persist until you delete your account.

When you delete your account (see Section 7), we remove your account, profile, saved designs, uploaded and generated images, subscription records, usage logs, and push tokens from our systems.

Deleting your account does not delete data already held by third parties such as OpenAI, RevenueCat, Apple, or Google. Those providers retain data according to their own policies.

7. Your Rights and Choices

  • Account deletion. You can delete your account and associated data directly in the App (Profile → Delete Account). This removes your data from our systems as described in Section 6.
  • Access and correction. You can view and edit your profile information in the App.
  • Push notifications. You can turn push notifications on or off in the App.
  • Sign-out. Signing out clears locally stored data from your device.

Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws such as the GDPR (EU/UK) or CCPA/CPRA (California), including the right to access, correct, delete, or port your data, and to object to certain processing. If you are a California resident, you also have the right to know whether your personal information is used in automated decision-making technology; as described in Section 2, Desaign does not use your personal information to make automated decisions about you. Regional laws vary, and you should confirm your rights under your local law.

8. Children's Privacy

Desaign is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

9. Security

We use industry-standard measures, including hashed passwords and access-controlled storage, to protect your information. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will update the effective date above and, where appropriate, notify you in the App. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated policy.
